nikhilr51
Hi, I dont know if this is the right place to post this but here goes nothing, any help is appreciated. I tried dual booting osx and windows but wifi didn't work so i had no internet (kind of a biggie). So i downloaded vmware and a vmware 10.6 image. Its working perfectly but my only problem is when I installed iLife 09 iMovie gives me a Quartz Extreme required error and it doesnt run. Everything else works fine though, just imovie. I really wanted imovie as i have a lot of old .imovieproject files i wanted to convert. Upon original installation graphics were stuck at 1024x768 but installing VMsvga2 fixed that perfectly. (Dont know if that makes any difference). My graphics card is a 9600gtm. Thanks for any help, Nikhil.
ArgVega
QE hasn't been developed for the VMWare SVGA II Driver. Zenith was working on developing QE and implementing it into his VMsvga2 driver, but he has stopped working on it for a while so I don't think he is working on it anymore. So as far as QE goes you are out of luck, since apple has only licensed the server version to VMWare there is no need for developing QE into the driver. Until VMware desides to do so, I'm afraid we are all out of luck, hopelly they develop a beta of a driver that supports QE as experimental. Hope this helps
