mucielago Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 Hello, I have installed the Snow Leopard 10.6 Retail Version on a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR with the Kakewalk Method and it works almost perfect, but there are some Problems. First Problem is after I have worked a few hours on my new Mac I got the Message "You need to restart your Computer. Hold down the Power button for a several Seconds or press the restart button". If I restart the PC it starts without problems, but I will get the same Message after 2 or 3 hours. Second Problem is that there is no sound. I have installed the AppleHDA.kext for Realtek ALC888 from www.kexts.com but it won't work. It would be nice if someone could help me. Is there someone who know a solution for the first problem?
