dsbnz
After some considerable searching around the web, i came across a reference to someone switching off the Hyper-Threading option in BIOS to solve audio crackling and other issues. I switched off the Hyperthreading in BIOS, which has definately improved the audio, with no crackling. I havnt seen any performance degradation on a whole, in fact it appears to be working a little smoother, with less application crashes. can anyone confirm this is a good fix/workaround.? or are there better idea's?
