schmoppa
I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that the new Macbook Pros are dual core. In retrospect, maybe dual core makes sense for a mobile platform in terms of power consumption (but maybe not?)... but still I am wondering if there are solid, hackintoshible quad-core i5/i7 laptops out there. (is this the right forum topic for this?) Mackilroy
I haven't seen any, but I haven't really looked either. I do know that Sony's new i5 and i7 laptops are also dual-core - though with four threads they're almost like a quad-core. Yeah, yeah, I know - not natively. But still pretty nice. I'm hearing a bigger uproar about the GeForce 330M.
