safmaverick
Hello everyone! I was using Leo about year ago, but unninstalled it because I had some problems with it, so I wonder if there are bug fixes on Snow Leo? Here is my configuration: MSI 945PL Neo-F ICH7 Intel P4 3,06 GHz Gainward nVidia GeForce 7600GS 320Gb Hitachi & 80Gb Maxtor Creative Sound Blaster USB (I know its old machine, but I'm in love with Mac) Now, I have iPC x86 Leo 10.5.6 universal PPF5 installation disc, so I wonder if I need to download some new Snow Leo version to install it (if it exists) or I have to install this and than upgrade it? Does Snow Leo supports NTFS partition "read/write", or its just "read" like the old one? This is all for now, there will be probably more questions in the future. I hope you can help me in my decision wheter to install it or not. Thanx in advance. safmaverick
OK. I've installed Hazard's Snow Leo for SSE2 SSE3 but I got Kernel panic on boot, what should I do? safmaverick
Here it is, almost there. Installation success (Hazards SL for Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3), there are no kernel panics, boots fast; BUT, cannot get through Welcome startup procedure. I don't understand what is the problem: after boot I get screen to choose country, which I did, than get screen with keyboard input, done that, and than get screen to choose if I had some previous installations and where from I want to input my data (other mac, backup, etc.) and I choose "Do not input... bla bla", click Continue, and there everything stops, processor and HD are working for a while but after that thay stop working, and I cannot do anything but restart. Same problem in safe mode, single user mode, verbose... Is there any way to jump over that procedure? What can be the problem?
