This is probably a silly question, but with the EX58-UD5, as long as you're using 240-pin DDR3 memory, does it really matter what kind of memory you've got? I'm not talking about faster or slower memory, just memory that works. Say, for example, does this memory work? Or this brand by Kingston? I did a bit of searching but I'm still a bit confused here and could use any suggestions. :)

Between those two, I'd choose the G.SKILL in a heartbeat.

It's PC1600 rather than 1333- if your board supports it, might as well have faster. Also, G-Skill- heat spreaders, 175 reviews, 85% 5 egg- the Kingston only has 6 reviews. I'd go with what's more used. Of course, either is probably fine to use, but since the price isn't much dif, go for what's better.

By the way, G.SKILL and Gigabyte go very well together in my experience.

I actually ended up ordering an entire different set of RAM from Patriot - 3x2 GB. One of the others on here (nebraskaboy if I recall right) had it and it worked fine. It had good reviews, so here's hoping everything works well when it arrives. ;)

Thanks for the information, though.
