msmyth2002 Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 I have 8086 2445 SoundMAX ICH 2 with a codec reported as AD1887. I translated this into ADS62 from the 4144 5362, but I can't get the AppleAC97CodecAD198x.kext to load automatically on boot. It will load if I do a kextload, but the sound device does not show up.
