I'm trying to get the latest build of Azureus to work on 10.4.7 - but every time I start it, the icon just bounces a few times in the dock and disappears. In the console it says:

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have updated to the latest build of Java (software update) Other java programs, such as netbanking ect are working the way the are supposed to! The same goes for other bittorrent clients!?!

I had the same problem but this solution only works for an intel mac assuming you have an intel mac. Go here and download the "special build"

http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Intel_Macs

If you don't have an intel mac then i don't know what to tell you. Hopefully this helps.

The file for the special build appears to have changed on their server, the wiki link hasn't been updated. It's filename has been renamed slightly. This link should grab it...

http://azureuswiki.com/files/Azureus_2.4.0...iversal_OSX.dmg

I've installed it and is working on my intel with 10.4.6

hope this helps. :)
