ngawethuu
Hello everyone, I have a ASUS P5K-PL AM SE motherboard, with Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 processor, and 2 x 2 DDR2 Kingston clocked with 800 Mhz Ram. I have an integrated graphic card (GMA3100). I have installed 1 x Sata drive (Samsung 500 GB) on SATA port, and i have also a DVD ROM attached to SATA port. My hard drive is completely empty. (not partitioned at all) My boot-up options: - First boot device: SATA Hard drive - Second boot device: DVD ROM I've also tried to revert them for trying. Tried bios options: - CPU Internal Thermal: Disabled / Enabled - ACPI 2.0 Support: Yes - APIC : Enabled - Execute Disable: Enabled - Suspend : Auto / Suspend: S3 Only I've also disabled integrated LAN and Azalia Sound card for testing purposes. I've begun with iPC distribution. (10.5.6) When i try to fire up with F8 and try -v option, i'm stuck at: init ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop init CpuCtrlLoop I've also tried toh -v but nothing seems to work. I've also tried vanilla -x -f -v, but this one too, doesn't work. I've changed bios options, here and there, and disabled everything, but didn't worked. I've tried iDeneb, and iPC with following Bios configuration, but this time i'm stuck with following error: (booting with -v option as always) cannot determine immediate dependency on org.tgwdb.driver.ACPIPS2Nub Yesterday, i've tried Kalyway 10.5.2 with -x -v, -x -v -F with modbinkernel and stepspeedkernel. It start to load lots of kexts and lists on screen (never seen it with other distrib's that i've tried), but stops at: Waiting for boot device with uuid: "guid-stuff" With mach_kernel, i have this message also: Extension "com.apple.driver.ApplePCIConfigurator" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style Edit: In additional, i have prepared a gparted live USB, Ubuntu live cd + install cd if necessary. I've also read a lot topics, and morely related: Topic:ASUS P5KPL-AM/PS hackintosh guide, win, l33t, 9600gt, 10.5.6 japogiii@insanelymac I think that i've gave all details and need some help at this point, cause i'm stuck. ngawethuu
Thanks everyone for their replies and sharing their ultimate knowledge! At the end, I finally believe that it's not possible to install any Mac OS X system on PC. Currently i borrowed a motherboard. ASUS P5Q (not patched, virgin as Out of box.) Intel E8400 Processor (clocked at 3.0 Ghz) 1 x 2 GB DDR2 Kingston RAM 800 mhz USB DVD ROM ATI HD 3650 Bios Settings: everything possible. Full Install guide for this Mobo by RoberT_XeS @ Insanelymac Trying with iDeneb 1.5.7, iPC, iAtkos, ... Trying voodoo kernel @ 9.5 and just getting a kernel panic. Nothing seems to run ! As usually, i'm not a newbie, i try to read every thread in the forum, please don't quote "google it" because i've read a lot and a lot of google / insanelymac articles. I don't know if you'll respond, but as usual my question will remain unanswered. I think that at the end, the best choice will be to install gentoo, which is less painless, and at least gentoo community is helpful. Thanks. x0x0.
