I had tested it as soon as I stumbled upon this news on 2nd of April.

I removed the NTFS-3G + MacFuse x64 combo for trying it out. Then.....

And Paragon NTFS 8.0 worked flawlessly than NTFS-3G + MacFuse x64 version. You can check a few previous posts of mine.

I had some problems deleting the data from NTFS partitions.

Whenever you delete data, it would NOT be moved to .Trashes folder in each volume, but rather prompt to be directly deleted.

Paragon solved that problem, I still don't know how! And, life was good again..... but for a short period.

It gave an average throughput of 66MBps while writing and 75+ MBps when reading from NTFS partitions. Using XBench i.e.

(see my signature below of the total drives in my rig)

Alas! Until I had to use the iPartition 3.2.0. For it's activation, I had to roll back the date.

AND! Wham! just two days later... and Paragon NTFS 8.0 started popping up the message "You trial period" is over"!

5H!t... Well.... I've used up all my skills to remove the debris / left over files from it's installation to try to get back the 30 days trial... but it was not fruitful.

Everything that I've done seems to NOT remove those files that block the App from giving me back my 30 days trial period.

Everything, from plist files to /Library/Receipts/

to /etc/local/

among thousand other programs.

I've even tried disassembling the SN.bundle that is packed with the Installer.

To look for anything worthwhile but it wasn't useful.

Though, removing that SN.bundle lets you install without showing the "Enter Serial" screen in the Installer.

Awaiting any further developments by you-know-whos! :(
