Hello all. I recently updated my bootloader to a newer version. Im using Bootthink. After I updated it, Snow leopard will not boot anymore. I think it has something to do with the disk i have Snow installed on is not set as the active disk anymore. I tried setting it as the active disk using DISKPART within windows, but got an error saying it can only set MBR disks to active. What is the best way to set it as active?

If the disk uses GUID Partition Table (GPT) partitioning, as the error message you report implies, then you can't set any partition active, since there's no such thing as an active flag in the GPT scheme.

I don't know much about how Boot Think deals with GPT disks, or with how much of a "drop-in" replacement it is for Chameleon (or whatever you were using before). My suspicion is that Boot Think can deal with GPT disks, since it is a Hackintosh boot loader, but I can't say I know that for certain. I suspect that what you really need to do is to modify your configuration to conform to Boot Think's expectations -- maybe move some files to new locations or find a way to set some Boot Think configuration options for your system. Alternatively, you could switch back to the boot loader you'd been using before.
