Hi Guys, im new to the OSX86 scene, so please explain your answers noobily lol.

Anyways, on to the problem:

I recently downloaded Kalyway 10.5.6 Leopard. It finished and I burned it to a dvd.

Ive been trying to fix it for 2 weeks now.

The problem is that the post installation freezes at the Kernel Version part.

Ive tried all the flags I know about (-f, -x,-s,-v).

My laptop is a HP Pavilion DV4000. Dv4141EA to be exact.

Ive checked my laptops specs from CPU-Z and it says it supports SSE1 and SSE2.

I have also tried all the kernels available that came with Kalyway (modbinkernel, vanillakernel, speedstepkernel, sleepkernel, machkernel). None of them seem to get me past the Kernel Version part.

My BIOS has very minimum settings which I can change, there is no option for Power Management or ACPI.

I have also tried disabling Wireless LAN (WiFi) and Bluetooth.

I did that and tried to install. Same problem still, it hangs there at Kernel Version.

PLEASE HELP ME!:help :stretcher:

Ive been trying to fix this darn thing for 2+ Weeks!!!

I have tried the same Kalyway disc that I burned on another HP laptop (DV6) and it loads up correctly all the way up to the part where I can select where I want to install and if I want to install.

I am seriously frustrated now :fiery::blowup: and I don't know what to do. If I cant find a fix for it then I'll just download ATKOS i5 and hope for the best.

Thanks in advanced,

AeroXLR :D:help:

Extra {censored}:

I get a Kernel Panic before I get stuck on Kernel Version

PS: I feel like just going back to plain Windows and forgetting about OSX86 :laser:
