StacksOvaflow Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 Hello, I installed kalyway 10.5.2 then updated via iDeneb 10.5.8. I have a HP DV6000 laptop. Here are the problems: EDIT:the most important problem : when i plug earphones i ear a small noise in my left earphone. it's not coming from my internal microphone, i putted the volume at 0. any ideas? In the first place, I do not manage to go out of the sleep mode, the computer does not react any more and the screen remains faded, it would seem that this evening a frequent problem.... Then, two minor problems: I have a mouse trust 5 buttons but both last ones (previous one / following one) do not work! It was very practical with Windows, I hope to find a solution or a new 5 buttons mouse compatible. The signs <and> do not work! This happens a lot with my laptops (Presario c300, Toshiba a45-s120). I hear a humming/buzzing noise as well. I believe it has to do with the power supply, as when the earphone cable gets closer, the bussing increases in volume. It also does not go away when it is not plugged in.
