Diwad
Hey all hackintosh fans! I have a question - If my processor doesn't have VT (C2D E4400) and when I want to instal PD 5 it gives me error that my CPU doesn't have Virtualizaton Technology and stops installation, can I instal and use it somehow? I remember I had VmWare fusion installed some time ago and it worked pretty good. I want Parallels cuz I read that it's better. Thanks in advance guys! P.S: my congfig: SL 10.6.3 C2D E4400 MB: P35c-DS3 2GB OCz RAM 800MHz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214666-e4400-parallel-desktop-5/ Share on other sites
zorro23
You are right, recent benchmarks shows that Parallels is faster than Fusion, but unfortunately you can't use it with your processor. You have to have CPU with VT. I have C2D E4600 and also can't start Parallels. VMware Fusion is our friend Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214666-e4400-parallel-desktop-5/#findComment-1442253 Share on other sites
