Need help with Snow leopard install

Hey i havejust built a hackingtosh and it works 100% fine with leopard

 

but when i use the hazard snow leo dvd to install snow leopard i boot it up and go to the disk utility then choose my fresh hard drive (sata) and format it to guid and mac os jornaled. then once thats done i go and choose where to install and the blank formatted hdd shows up as a blank page aand my leo hdd shows as a hard drive symbol then i chose the blank one aand i ge to customise th install ive tryed differnt variations of this i.e. both thee 10.6.1 and 10.6.2 update selected and none of the updates selected ive tryed legacy kernal and no kernal selected (as i chose with the leo install) and i chose the drivers i nneed ext... then when i click install it says calculating time and that and get ready to install the sayss:

 

INSTALL FAILED

MAC OSX COULD NOT BE INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER

(SHOWS ERROR PICTURE)

 

THE INSTALLER COULD NOT INSTALL THE SOFWARE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SOFTWARE FOUND TO INSTALL.

CLICK RESTART TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER TO TRY AGAIN.

 

(THEN HAS A BUTTON TO RESTART)

 

whats wrong can anyone tell me how to get it to install?? i have burned the disk again to makesure it didnt burn correctly but it still gives the error! please any help would be rly appreciated!
