polluxx2008
hello, when i was trying to find out why my SL needs much time to boot, i played with the network adaptors settings in the bios of my gigabyte ep45-ds3p board, turned "green lan" on and off again, switched off either network ports manually... it didnt speed up booting - instead, i noticed that one network adaptor (the one that was connected to the router) has two virtual ports now and isnt working anymore. i have "en1" twice on one lan port (see screenshot). can anyone help me to correct this? what ive already tried: switched off/on both lan ports in bios, booted, rebooted, hoping that my OS says "new network adaptor found" and assigns the "en#" again... didnt help plx oops... forgot screenshot... here we go.
