Saphiresurf
Hello i decided to start a little project. I was thinking of making a dell run the iPhone OS. I was recently looking at the structure of the iPhone OS filesystem and it looked very similar to the Mac OSX filesystem. If this is so then it might be possible to develop kexts for the iPhone OS just like Mac OSX. Anyways if anyones interested in helping just give me a holler! Saphiresurf
its true but the sdk pulls it off so it may be possible to get it running as a virtual machine. I figured out that the iPhone OS does run on kexts so if you can make it run on intel or amd it will work on diifrent system configurations. one more thing too, Mac OSX worked on an AMD Processor as a hackintosh so it just might be possible to make an intel processor work with an ARM processor OS. El Massman
there's quite literally no chance of getting this working unless you get the source code for the iphone OS which just will not happen. nice thought but if it was possible i'm sure someone would have done it long before now. Saphiresurf
i think i may have a diffrent idea. Pc would be very diffucult and probaly wont be finished. So i decided i might do this on a diffrent machine that has ARM. I will post a new thread of i see that it may be more possible.
