cr4nky
Hey, I am at the last step to a perfect Hackintosh! Everything is working now, the latest device is a bluetooth USB Stick that was recognized as native bluetooth device without any additionals kexts. Now I'm looking for a WLAN USB-Stick or better PCI card thats running native? I'd be really happy about some help for that! Take care, cr4nky Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214141-wlan-usbpci-solutions-for-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
rphoto
I'm also looking for a wireless solution for my snow leopard hackintosh. I'd like to have an N adapter without kext mods, but I haven't found any reliable info on the matter. Also: What bluetooth dongle are you using? I'd like bluetooth Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214141-wlan-usbpci-solutions-for-snow-leopard/#findComment-1437863 Share on other sites

I use this one: "JABRA A320s Bluethooth Stereo USB Adapter Wireless". I just plugged in and it works. If you want to the "network-inferface found" message to disappear you just have to add a network interface manually and its gone Take care! cr4nky Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214141-wlan-usbpci-solutions-for-snow-leopard/#findComment-1438197 Share on other sites

Nerologic
I have a solution to your wireless problem, its an expensive one but it guarantees to work after any update you need an open pci-e x1 slot then go on ebay and search for a MP2W mini pci-e to pci-e adapter then go and buy a genuine apple wifi card currently only the broadcom ones are the only ones supported in SL-64 the atheroes are for lesser generations and 32 bit (learnt that the hard way ) then just connect it up and there you go recognised natively Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214141-wlan-usbpci-solutions-for-snow-leopard/#findComment-1507981 Share on other sites
rphoto
Nice! I guess I missed the broadcom/atheros system requirements when I was doing my research I bought the MP2W online and an atheros card off ebay and tried to get them working for hours. I finally found a no-hack, no extra-adapter solution that works very well if you have a spare ethernet port and don't move your machine around too much. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=219121 it's a wireless-N gaming adapter meant for X-Boxes and the like. Super fast and not a problem with it yet (except for poor documentation on their end)!
