exiva Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 I'm having some trouble with my GMA950 (Vendor: Intel 0x8086 Device ID: 0x27ae Revision ID: 0x0003) on 10.6.2 (With all the latest updates from Software Update) I can't get it into 1024x600 mode. I'm also fairly positive Quartz Extreme is running, as I get the ripple effect and have a transparent menubar. But no matter what I do (Short of using SwitchResX, which I'd like to avoid if at all possible) I can't get it to show 1024x640. Here's my kextstat as well. With the DSDT patch you must use original (vanila/stock) kexts. I got my desktop fixed with this & with this forum help.
