Hello i decided to make a compilation of everything having to do with OSx86 on the Dell Inspiron 1545. This guide will have links to websites containing drivers, guides, basic info, and a lot of other stuff.

If anyone finds more info on this then just give me a holler!

It is quite simple to achieve dual booting with linux and mac. You simply install snow leopard first, make a partition scheme that takes, let's say, 80 gb. And you leave that other free space unformatted. After mac installation, you use chameleon rc4 and then you boot with a live cd of, let's say ubuntu? You simply install linux into that partition that was unformatted, but you need to be carefull where you install GRUB. Prefarabbly don't install it. It is best to not install it, because you will have to boot with a chameleon 321 boot disc, and boot from your mac partition. Reinstall chameleon and voila! You now have a dual partition mac/linux
