Al massimo puoi tentare con qualche versione patchata tipo Snow Hazard. Sono rimasto allora a Leopard 10.5.6 e siccome adesso mi sono assemblato un nuovo PC ho poi lasciato perdere i tentativi. dom.GNR Posted March 29, 2010 Author Share Posted March 29, 2010 l'atom è più scarso!!! comunque ora ho la iDeneb 1.4 (leopard 10.5.6) ho provato a installare snow leopard con hazard, per il p4 si deve mettere il kernel legacy lo metto però poi va in kernel panic provo a fare la verbose mode ma carica le scritte poi tutto nero....come posso risolvere?? fwood Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 no è una questione di "scarsezza" della cpu intermini solo di potenza di calcolo! un vecchio Pentium 4 è un processore NON a 64 bit e che NON supporta alcune istruzioni (sse3/sse4, EMT64 ecc). E' come voler far leggere un dvd bluray ad un Atari 2600 a cartucce del 1985! parlo dei vecchi pentium 4 socket 478 (i willamette, northwood o quall'altro come si chiamava non ricordo (quello successivo al northwood che scaldava come un formo a microonde)). nel tuo caso..il processore ha le EMT64 ma ha una cache l2 da 1 mega, in teoria dovrebbe andare ma forse un pò a fatica. Ho tentato anch'io con il kernel Legacy senza risultato. Ora ho patchato il DVD di installazione di Snow Leopard by Hazard con il DVD final update.ppf scaricato dal sito www*leohazard*com. Ho visto che ci sono altri kernel per gli Intel SSE2 però sinceramente devo ancora provare l'installazione. Qualcuno mi dice per favore gli altri kernel del final update quali processori supportano? cost@ Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 salve..io ho seguito la guida ed ho usato l'ideneb v 1.3 10.5.5 su un p4 willamette...l'installazione è andata a buon fine..da boot mi vede l'hhd però non boota e continua a riavviarsi trovare l'hardisk e riavviarsi e via cosi..cosa può essere??? HHD ide...che sia un problema di installazione o di incompatibilità?
