JJGEight
Hey, I just downloaded a copy of Snow OSX and I've tried installing it onto my Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop. It's not going well. The disc will boot up, show the apple logo and as it launches the installer gives me the blue screen then the screen goes black (as if it's been turned off). I've had a similar problem before when installing Leopard, however with leopard the installer ran perfectly and I used the trick where you remove the power cable, leave the laptop lid closed for 15 mins, enter into sleep mode and that brings the display back. I have tried this after the screen has gone black but unfortunatly it didnt work. I assume this is related to my graphics card which is the, Intel GMA965 card. If anyone could give me any help I would greatly appreciate it.
