Hi,

I have installed MacOSX SnowLeopard with the installed components: HP WOKRKSTATION xw4400 (DUAL CORE) with NVidia GeForce 9800 GT and Soundblaster Audigy.

Sometimes it works all fine, but other times the system starts with no sound, no usb and slow graphic. After turning the Computer off, just power off, the computer starts, and all is working.

Any solution for this?

Thx

Sounds like you have permissions issues, so run Kext Utility to fix all your problems.

Hello,

I had a similar Problem, but just with no Audio working.

I solved it by getting rid of the EFI-String injection, and just using the Injection from the Bootloader (PC-EFI 10.6)

In the com.apple.Boot.plist i set the following:

GraphicsEnabler=Yes

EthernetBuiltIn=Yes

and make sure you use the right kext for your onboard Audio Device.

That solved all Problem for me, but i am using an Asus P5Q-E Motherboard.

Just give it a try, maybe it works for you too...

bye
