juanml82
I'm trying to install SL using the guide for GA-P35-DS4 and related boards. The installer freezed when it indicated 11 minutes to end, near the end of the progress bar (I've tried twice). As a I though the issue could be the installer being unable to reboot, I've shut down and restarted. I still need to boot from the boot cd from that guide, though, even with the partition with SL installed active. I any case, I see the intro movie (without sound yet), but then the installer asks me to connect a mouse, as none seems to be connected, before starting. The weird thing is, the mouse is actually moving when connected directly through usb. My mouse is usb and comes with the ps2 adapter (it won't work without it with the installer) and the keyboard is a ps2 keyboard. I've tried enabling and disabling the usb support for mouse and keyboard in the bios with no effect and I've dropped the appleps2 kext I've found in the drivers forum of this site in the extensions folder (no idea if it will have any effect just by itself, though), and didn't work either. Thanks in advance, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/213334-trying-to-install-asks-to-connect-a-connected-usb-mouse/ Share on other sites
juanml82
Alright, I borrowed an usb keyboard and it worked. I'll be back with more questions, though Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/213334-trying-to-install-asks-to-connect-a-connected-usb-mouse/#findComment-1432247 Share on other sites
