finebykris Posted March 17, 2010 Share Posted March 17, 2010 I just installed from scratch and at first I used efi studio. no luck. It gave me the right resolution but as soon as my desktop loaded it would KP on GeForce.kext. I looked into it and that was a common issue. I replaced geforce.kext and the others with the kexts off of the 10.6.1 update (extracted with pacifist.) This solved my KP issue, but now with no support for my graphics card. Then I tried installing NV enabler. No change. Then NVinject, no change. Then I removed all of the GeF* and NV* kext files and reinstalled NVinject. no luck, still no support for my card. I know I'm doing something wrong. Am i supposed to edit the NVinject kext file with some information? NVCAP, NVRAM? I cannot find this information anywhere. Also, am I supposed to remove all of the GeF* and NV* kexts for nvinject to work?
