rthally94
While running OSX on my hackintosh, the system's clock runs faster than it should and gets ahead on the time. My BIOS is set on the correct time. My time zone is correct and I have had the time set automatically by apple and manually my myself and it still runs fast. Any help will be appreciated. oldnapalm
I read a similar topic some time ago http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=210935 the author said the solution was using a specific boot file for the processor, but it's not the same as yours. rthally94
I do not know if I am using speedstep. I do have audio issues with iTunes (Sometimes) but is more common in flash videos (Hulu, Youtube, Etc.). DieBuche
What kind of dsdt are you using? Try the following: Try removing/modifying IRQs in TIMR, RTC, HPET and IPIC devices. It worked for me. Look up those devices in Master Chief's DSDT from the P5K Pro thread:http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=188920 Or try THe KiNG's method here: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=564 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/213113-fast-clock/#findComment-1430914 Share on other sites
rthally94
I checked and do not have speedstep. My audio issues have gone away for now by switching ports on the back. My computer is overclocked a little bit if that may cause the problem.
