^GoJo^ Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Hello, I tried all day long to install any OSX on my new 1005HA, but it didn't work. Well, once i arrived ont he snow desktop, but it was not done correctly... I was into 800*600 instead of 1024*600, and other things like that... + the boot that never work, i had to boot from the USB install drive, even after i reinstall a boot to the system partition, it will just say error... It happened to me all the last times i tried to install Snow somewhere. I used to knew how to do it well, but i completly forgot and can't find back it seems... So i tried to install iAtkos v7 by restoring its image on external hard drive, then it just didn't want to start (don't know what's wrong but often the disk doesn't start.. don't know what i'm doing wrong?) To finish i tried to install it with DVD drive which was not recognized by the Asus 1005HA, i'm really pissed off now, want to break it almost -__- Please anyone tell me what i did wrong when restoring image to external drive... geoffito Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 Have a look at this thread for installing Snow on the 1005HA, Its has worked for me. The only thing I changed in my 1005HA was the wifi card, to a dell one. If I remember rightly all the files and info you need is in this thread.....
