timbojill
Installed Windows XP and MAC OS X on a dell latitude D610 laptop. I get boot0:error three times. I can boot into the MAC partition by hitting F12 at the BIOS screen. I then boot off the IAktos v7 disk and do that rd=diskXsY trick I read on a forum. How can I get it to give me the option as to which operating system to boot off of. jamba77
you have to activate the osX partition first. when i do an install, after XP, sometimes I have to do this, too: just get Ultimate Boot CD an burn it. then boot from it, and under ´file tool´there is ´boot manager´, take it and activate your (new) OSX partition. it then boots immediateley.. Before I try what you say and just wanted to confirm that once I once use Ultimate Boot CD as described above that my PC should prompt me at the BIOS screen which operating system to boot in. The mac or Windows. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212709-boot0-error-on-dual-boot-dell-latitude-d610/#findComment-1431001 Share on other sites
