Installed Windows XP and MAC OS X on a dell latitude D610 laptop. I get boot0:error three times. I can boot into the MAC partition by hitting F12 at the BIOS screen. I then boot off the IAktos v7 disk and do that rd=diskXsY trick I read on a forum. How can I get it to give me the option as to which operating system to boot off of.

you have to activate the osX partition first.

when i do an install, after XP, sometimes I have to do this, too: just get Ultimate Boot CD an burn it. then boot from it, and under ´file tool´there is ´boot manager´, take it and activate your (new) OSX partition. it then boots immediateley..

I will look for it and try what you say. Just one quick newbie question once I do this when I start up my machine it should list both Operating Systems and let me choose which one to boot off of ?

normally, yes. thats the best case :(

when after installing osx it wont boot, I use Ultimate Boot CD, as described.

Before I try what you say and just wanted to confirm that once I once use Ultimate Boot CD as described above that my PC should prompt me at the BIOS screen which operating system to boot in. The mac or Windows.
