chasingcharlie Posted March 7, 2010 Share Posted March 7, 2010 I just purchased this motherboard from New Egg. My power supply has the 20+4P connector; which is fine. But it does not have the eight-pin power connector, which is near the CPU. Do I just need to buy a new power supply or can either the six-pin connector or the four-pin connector go there? These are the only two connectors I have. When I do try to power it up, the fan immediately quits and I turn it off immediately. Not sure where to go from here.
