travikk
Hi guys! I would like to install Snow Leopard on my laptop hard drive from my usb drive (so I woudln't have to burn a Install DVD). Anyways, so far I have managed to create HFS+ partition on my USB Drive (so I could put install files on it) and copy all the data from .dmg to the partition. Nevertheless, when I try to boot my laptop with Empire EFI (which has Chameleon 2.0 RC3) it doesn't list my HFS+-usb-drive-partition. However I can see every other partition (from my laptop, and other one from the usb drive). Could you point me the way to do it? I mean, I think I tried everything and I am starting to believe it is impossible. I don't have access to a MAC so I could create the bootable-usb-stick from within the MAC OS. Well, to be perfectly honest I copies only HFS+ "half" of the image, like in this article: http://www.64lines.com/mounting-hfs-plus Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212147-snow-retail-installing-from-usb-drive/ Share on other sites
