Install SL on HP dv6000

So ive seen guides on how to put Leopard on the dv6000 or similar hardware but I have seen no guides anywere on how to get it with Snow Leopard. I have a Retail disk ready for it and I just need to know how to get it on my dv6000 I have a pc and a mac so anything I can do just tell me and that would be great.

Hi all, i've been roaming the web looking for advise on this matter too. I've searched about my laptop model and a "how to" instalation guide to make snow leopard work here, but without success... I've managed to install leopard osx but i always need to add -x in the boot options (i've made it to having triple boot, win 7, xp and this). Therefore, i dont have sound and no wireless, this last issue is very debated around the web (intel wireless...). Anyway, if someone could help about installing snow leopard to make it work with i'd apreciate a LOT! (in my case, leopard freezes in the apple white logo, and if i put -v i get a lot of text wich i dont understand) I also get "?? :S" choosing the specs in the costume installation of leopard, on cpu, chipset, etc (i got the feeling it was probably not compatible, that i made the wrong choices in this area when i installed leopard) because there's many components to choose and some of my specs dont show up there.

 

So, I already have a bugged leopard instalation, with no sound and wireless, so the hd partition is already formated to show up on osx instalation menu, i just need a compatible osx to work nice in my laptop... Can someone help? Thank you very much
