N!tr@m
Hey, 1st: I've installed Snow Leopard on my machine. I applied some kexts with myhack and when I try to boot SL in normal mode there is a very sharp tone (don't know what it is made by -- HDD, Graphics???) and the screen freezes when my desktop is on the screen (the tone doesn't stop). When I boot with -x flag everything is fine: the sharp tone doesn't start and graphics also works. What can I do, that the normal boot works the same way the safe boot does. 2nd: USB sticks don't get recognized, but my USB mouse and keyboard work. Any ideas? Thanks, N!tr@m Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211868-boot-only-safe-mode-no-usb-function/ Share on other sites
N!tr@m
Or could somebody tell me just, what the main difference is between normal and safe mode? (Kexts, ...)
