siviog1 Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 I successfully installed SL 10.6.2 by HAZARD but my graphics is stuck on 1024x768. No other resolutions available to select from. I am currently using the HDMI output to my Toshiba 46in LCD TV. Any help would be appreciated to get all resolutions and QE/QI. Thanks System Specs AMD Phenom II X4 820 Asus - M3A78-T Graphics - GALAXY nVidia GeForce GTS 250 Audio - ALC1200 - Not working Network - Marvel - working I choose NVinject at system install for graphics.. siviog1 Posted March 1, 2010 Author Share Posted March 1, 2010 Hi, Can you see in verbose mode if the kext is loaded at all? when i boot normaly i see everything fine but only 1024x768 no other resolutions available. When i try adding the gfi strings and removing the nvinject kext it boots to blue screen. Booting with -v is the same as normal i get 1024x768... Thanks for replying Beer but I have already done that.. I applied the string with osx86tool and removed the nvinject kext via terminal and verified with finder that the kext was removed...
