This is a long, sad story which I will try to make as short and simple as possible.

Dell Inspiron 1545 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1ghz. Two partitions: win7 + osx86 (iDeneb 10.5.8)

I'm a pretty big newb with this stuff.

Installation #1: Everything went well except I forgot the PS/2 drivers

Installation #2: got ps/2 drivers working. Screen resolution was the stupid, horrible default that was too low for my screen and with the wrong ratio. I did something with Chameleon and the <key>Graphics Mode</key> and SOMEHOW got the proper 1366x768x32 resolution. Then my wireless card refused to cooperorate so I did Install #3

Installation #3: Same as #2, but with better wifi drivers. This time, however, I forgot how to get the screen resolution correct. This is where it gets interesting...

By this point in time, I have tried everything. Probably literally EVERYTHING. Kexts, <script>Graphics Mode</script>, <script>Set flag Or whatever</script> (and yeah those should be <key> but my blinker cursor isn't showing up so I can't go back without deleting this all)

I'm gonna try and name the things I've tried:

1. The <key>Graphics Mode</key> and everything else with com.apple.boot.plist

2. OSX86 Tools

3. Multiple Kexts (every GMA kext under the sun, like x3100, 3100, x4500, etc)

4. The "graphics mode"="blahblahblah"

5. System Preferences

What I'm trying to say here is that I've tried everything I know....perhaps it needs to be Chameleon RC4 or 3? I have RC2 cause it has the package installer and I'm not sure how to upgrade without the package installer (and I don't like messing around with terminal when it comes to the MBR)

The thing is, I DID have it work in Installation #2. It took ten minutes and i guess I just got really lucky. It's been all day and i still can't recreate what I did the first time. Anyone able to help here? Simple Googling won't help...I've done all the Googling already and nothing worked.

All help is greatly appreciated.
