einhornchen Posted February 27, 2010 Share Posted February 27, 2010 It took a little digging to get to the root of all the checks parallels does to makes sure this software isnt installed. Here's the appropriate patch and instructions to make it work. Download the attachment (distribution.dist) to your desktop. Mount the parallels .dmg file Change permissions of Parallels volume to read/write open terminal and type the following cp -R ~/Desktop/distribution.dist /Volumes/(Parallelsvolumenamehere)/Install.mpkg/Contents The copy command may need brushing up as it's typed from memory. After replacing the original distribution file with the one I made and provided, you should be able to run Install from the volume with no problems.
