I have a Dell Inspıron 530 Intel Quad Code Q6600. I have OHR. Intel SATA. nvkush. and ntfs. plus the rest of the defaults. My keyboard worked fıne at fırst but then I needed to reınstall OSX so I dıd but after that whenever ı hıt a key lıke a perıod ıt wıll gıve me a ç. To type a perıod I need to hıt the slash key... please help! Beerkex'd Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 Change keyboard type in System Preferences. Also google for a specific keyboard layout file if you need one. A custom keyboard layout is needed on some Brazilian keyboards for example because Apple don't use that specific layout.
