StarkIndustries
Hey guys, I have VIA VT1708s audio driver and am using AppleHDA and AppleAzaliaAudio and i have perfect 2 channel output sound. The main problem I have is I cant control the volume from the computer, which is really annoying. For now I am fine with not having a mic, but is there a way to control sound on my computer other than through the System panel, as in a application? I tried VoodooHDA (after removing azaila and apple) but it wouldnt work. Is it even compatible on AMD Processors? If you know a kext that would work, let me know as well. My research has led me to voodoo, but seeing as it didnt work, I am looking for other options Thanks guys. braindead2k3
Hi, ok, I know - it's an old thread... but I have the same problem here. I have an AMD Phenom II 955 on an Asus M4A78T-E Mainboard with the integrated VIA Chip (see above). On my Hazard installation I choosed AppleAzaliaAudio and the audio sounds clear - but I can't regulate the volume I tried to integrate the VoodooHDA from several posts but I get a kernel panic on my running machine. Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211495-volume-control-options-audio-kexts/#findComment-1671372 Share on other sites
