gebseng
following useless ninja's great instruction ( http://www.uselessninjas.com/guides/msiwindosx/ ) , i tried to install msiwindosx86.iso on an MSI Wind PC S2316XP ( hardware details: http://www.msi-computer.de/index.php?func=...;maincat_no=134 ) Unfortunately, I ran into the following error message during the install: Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style. and could not continue after that (stuck cursor) Do I have to modify the iso, remove a kext or something? I would be thankful about any suggestions, thanks, geb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211437-installing-105-msiwindosx86iso-on-a-msi-wind-pc/ Share on other sites
gebseng
in the meantime, I came up with a solution: I had to update the wind pc-s bios to 1.7, then everything worked fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211437-installing-105-msiwindosx86iso-on-a-msi-wind-pc/#findComment-1428248 Share on other sites
