sendblink23
*UPDATE* I solved my issue, I have upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6.2, but I know for a fact it also worked for 10.5.7 (tested it on a separate hard drive - installed iatkos v7 into it and it worked) I just used this Package: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1u2wnfmmdnj/...iaAudio.pkg.zip First before installing Remove, Back Up or Rename any audio drivers you have installed example: VoodooHDA in Terminal sudo suWRITE YOUR PASSWORD cd /System/Library/Extensions mv VoodooHDA.kext VoodooHDA.kext.bak exit Then afterwards (when done renaming/backing up all audio drivers you have previously installed), right now install the Package, when it ask for Restart - Do' so RESTART To know if your audio is working, turn up & down your volume or head into System Preferences go into Sounds and start clicking sounds there. I hope this works for anybody else, it did for me ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - OLD THREAD POST BELOW - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well according to my Mobo: MSI 770-C45 AM3 This is the Audio of it: Audio € Chipset integrated by Realtek® ALC888S / ALC885 - True Blu-ray Audio Support - Flexible 8-channel audio with jack sensing - Compliant with Azalia 1.0 Spec I just installed iAtkos V7 to my System: MSI 770-C45 AM3 AMD Phenom ii X4 965BE C3 8gb (4 x 2gb) DDR3-1600 @ (1:2) 800Mhz ATI HD 4650 1GB DDR2 PCI-e 1TB SATA Hitachi Deskstar 7200RPM (Windows 7 Ultimate x64) 120GB SATA Hitachi 5400RPM (iAtkos V7 - 10.5.7) I have almost everything working: Wireless Keyboard/Mouse, Graphics well no Q/E just only working GL *VGA(1024x768 - that is the screen I'm using so no bother for me), all hard drives detected, Ethernet (used Realteck R1000 from iAtkos V7), USB Wireless Netgear WG111v2 (using Netgears Leopards Driver from official website). Not working: Audio(out/in/headphone.. I don't even have the Sound icon on Top Menu Bar), Enable Q/E I already tested VoodooHDA, Azalia & AppleHDA from iAtkos V7 *none worked Since I messed with them already & they were causing many kernel panics I decided to do a whole fresh install again, and not installing any of them for you guys to help me out from clean for the Audio. So, Any help on the Audio kext for: ALC888S / ALC885? Thanks

miltonsj
@sendblink23, Thanks so much! This worked for me. I am running Snow 10.6.3, and it worked perfectly. To everyone else, please backup your old kexts before using if you want to keep them. Good Luck!
