cmcd14
I'm running a dual boot on a HP dv6000 laptop with Leopard and Windows 7. It has a 3945abg wifi card that couldn't connect (obviously) but when connecting the ethernet cord to the laptop, I had internet connection no problem. Now I've discovered that it is no longer recognizing an ethernet cord being connected. I believe it has something to do with the mercurysquad driver I installed for the 3945abg which now allows me to connect wirelessly, but the connection must be unsecured. Basically the driver is worthless to me without WPA being developed. I'd rather be able to directly connect the ethernet right now. Anyone know a solution to this problem? How Leopard can recognize that there is an ethernet connected once again?
