Tadachi18
Alot of people including myself have had the popular "Still Waiting for Boot Device" When trying to install on a laptop and some destops... Now This issue to my understanding happend when theres conflict between the Disc Drive and the Harddive to whatever is Master and Drive.... SOOO My question is since this happens with what i said above... Would Installing Via USB work a workaround? Since the install would be from the USB and not from a DVD... or would the USB install cost the issue again?? Sum up:: USB install could prevent "Still Waiting for Root Device"? oldnapalm
Sum up:: USB install could prevent "Still Waiting for Root Device"? If it happens when you boot the DVD, yes. If it's when you boot the installed system, no, you just need to install a driver for your SATA/ATA controller.
