einhornchen
This is a Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8900 Here's a link as to what's in the unit:http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/product/pdf_files/detailed_specs/satellite_P305D-S8900.pdf Here's a photo of what's happening after everything loads: Boot Photo As of right now, I'm using two hard drives to boot. The internal has an installation of 10.6.2 with the chameleon bootloader. The loader works, but the actual osx installation doesn (not the proper kernel). I use this to boot to the USB HDD attached which has an appropriate installation. The bootloader allows me to start the boot process on that USB drive. The photo is of what happens on the USB drive at boot. The internal drive fails to even panic, it shuts off imediately after loading the kexts. I'm willing to do whatever I have to do to make it work on this unit. I'm not worried about loosing data as both internal and USB drives are emtpy. I can remove the internal drive from the laptop and plop it into this desktop which is currently running OSX 10.5.2 to make modifications and install snow leo back to the disk. I'm unable to start the installation process from any dvd on the laptop.
