Hi

I just installed Iatkos V7 onto my C700 laptop and updated to 10.5.8. It seems to be running fairly ok (with USB keyboard and mouse) but I haven't really tested too much stuff yet.

The main things which are really bugging me at the moment are I have no keyboard and tracker pad support and the wireless doesn't seem to be working.

Can anyone help me on this?

And any other kexts which make it run smoother will help =P

Thanks

JM

For keyboard and trackpad you have to install PS/2 drivers (VoodooPS2Controller).

What wireless card do you have?

OK, keyboard and trackpad are now working, keyboard gets keys 'stuck' and trackpads a bit dodgy =S

any ideas?

I had a problem with keys 'stuck' on resume from sleep, solved using the version in this post

(it's for Snow Leopard, don't know if it will work on Leopard)

Which version are you using?

I'm using 10.5.8, but it seems to have fixed itself =)

I can't seem to find what wireless card I have, but I got a picture if it helps.

Edit:

Bit of google searching later, I think it comes under Atheros AR5006

Hey man, how do you have an wifi card approved by ANATEL?

I never used one of those, but some people reported to get it working

Uh oh, did what was said in that guide, and now when I reboot I just get to a blue screen.

I have booted using -V -K and nothing.

I think it might be the graphics? but I have no idea how to solve that =S

Which post did you follow the instructions?

You just replaced IO80211Family.kext, it shouldn't interfere with video.

I basically installed the kext using kext helper b7 and used osxtools the repair extensions and clear cache and stuff
