Hello there guys, this is the first time working with Mac OSX, let alone using it on x86! Anyway I am having a couple of problems but first I'll note exactly where I am at:

So far I have used iATKOS v7, and installed Leopard. I found a Boot 132 loader for an Inspiron 9400 and tried to install it into the hard drive and not had much luck. When it boots it just goes to a blank screen.

So anyway I now have to boot with the CD, using -x cpus=1 -v, so I can actually boot and see things, and have a working mouse (Normally it would just not react to the mouse movement and be impossible to use). Despite this disc, I can't get any wireless internet working, there is no sound (Mac says I do not have either of those drivers), and I can't install Final Cut Studio because apparently I have 0MB of Graphics Memory. (Despite Mac claiming that it has drivers for my Geforce 7900 GO, and im running at 1920x1200). Because of this, I wanted to have a fresh start using a retail version of Snow Leopard, working my way up from the bottom.

Okay so, I have a 1TB external hard drive and have been following a guide I found on Lifehacker (http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow-leopard-on-your-hackintosh-pc-no-hacking-required). I have managed to partition the drive, mount my Snow Leopard image and installed the EP45-UD3P package. Only problem is, once it boots up into the SL installation I have the mouse troubles again, and not much luck using keyboard or much else, and can't get past the first part of the installation.

Now with my (limited) knowledge of how all this works, I am guessing it is because I need the sort of Kexts that are in my Boot 132 I use with Leopard, which means I need to put some kexts onto the external to work the bootloader. However I have no idea where to start looking for kexts, or even the proper way to put them onto the bootloader. Any advice, guides on where to look etc will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
