Beerkex'd Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Looks like there's a problem with your ATA device drivers. I can't help without more information. Try looking for a newer jmicron ATA driver. Maybe it'll work if you use Disk Utility or Toast to make an image of the DVD first, then install from that. The Finale of Seem Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 What Beerkex'd said. Also, don't use IDE in a Hackie if you can help it. It's often more trouble than it's worth. Spend $25 and get a SATA DVD-RW drive and replace/remove and IDE hard drives. It's just too bloody problematic most of the time.
