jbaruch76 Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 basically i have a functioning 10.6.2 running. i managed to get the stereo audio working, not really sure how. i believe i used the azalia package. i would really like to get my spdif working. i have tried all the solutions in these forums except i feel like i may be doing things incorrectly. i've just been messing with which kexts are in my extra folder. right now for my stereo audio i don't need any. do i have to uninstall azalia before trying any other options? how would i go about doing that? and do i have alc888? does everyone w/ my mobo? i know these are sort of dumb questions, but i am just having trouble grasping the audio portion of all this.
