piched
Hello All, nb here so I cannot create my own thread. I am having trouble installing on an intel E09EI6 notebook. My first attempt: Recipe: http://osx.mechdrew.com/guides/nbi1.shtml Image: Snow Leopard retail disk with netbookmaker0.8.3 Results: Locks up/hangs at initial apple screen. No errors, no spinning wheels, nothing. Left it for over an hour just in case. Also - I can't seem to get to the boot prompt so that I can see messages. It goes from the boot up screen (that came with my laptop/bios) directly to the apple screen. I see a spinning cursor in the corner for about 2 or 3 seconds before going to the apple screen. My second attempt: Recipe: Uniflash1.0 Results: This one appears to default to verbose mode which provides more information. Unfortunately I am going from memory at the moment as to the last messages before the system hung again: - there was a message about buffers - then there was a message indicating that it had entered some type of decrypting phase... then it hung Here is my system information: Intel E09EI6 CPU • Intel® ATOM N270 processor 1.6GHz • 512K SLB73 FSB@533MHZ Memory • DDR2 400/533 SO-DIMM DRAM module • 1GB Core Logic • Intel® 945GSE • ICH7-M Audio Codec • Realtek ALC662 Card reader (2 in 1) • Support SD/MMC Memory Card. • USB 2.0 interface LAN Controller • Supports 10 and 100 Mb/sec.
