HDD BAY g5 wiring, how?

i read the whole post about fitting a g5 in a pc, they talked about it but i need a straight foward info because i suck at electrical...

 

just some straight foward simple explanation to connect them in 5v on a molex to the psu.

 

help is needed...

 

 

also aquamac is making some pretty stainless shroud, anyone know what thickness he uses and how to bend the metal to give that clean look?

you want to run the fans at 5v? that's a fairly simple mod. use the molex connector, red to + and ground to ground (black is ground).

 

yellow is 12v.

 

if you feel adventurous, some people will run yellow to + and red to - allowing 7v operation, but this is unsafe in poor quality power supplies. not a mod i would suggest using.

 

be more straight forward with your questions, ie, state the question directly, and people will be able to help you out, when you don't state the question, well, it's really hard to know what you need help with.
