Alright so here's the thing,

I have a mini 10v running OSX Snow Leopard beautifully, with iLife '09 and CS4 Design Premium, which both took approximately 3-4 hours to install both (using remote disk)

I REALLY don't want to do that again, SO, two things:

1. How do I make the downloaded netbook remix .iso file bootable on a USB? (I have been trying different methods all day and I have been searching guides with no real luck)

AND

2. How do I make the OSX side bootable again after netbook remix is installed. Any help would be great (I would prefer to have the 1st question answered for now) Thanks in advance!

1) Hard to guess what methods you tried already, but the easiest way probably is Unetbootin - select the downloaded iso

2) By default, Ubuntu installs grub to mbr and messes things up. You want grub installed onto your linux root partition (or alternatively on seperate /boot). At the installtion summary, there is a "advanced" menu, letting you chose where to install grub (it will whine about not being in the mbr, just ignore). If you get this right, next start Ubuntu and OSx will be bootable.

Just a reminder: linux grub install has to be on a primary partition to be bootable by Chameleon.

new noob question, is the iso that you download that is labeled "ubuntu-9-4.10-netbook-remix-i386.iso" the one that you "burn" to the USB?? or do I have to extract something first? I've never had this problem before...

scratch that last question. I got NR to a flash drive and it's bootable but because I have OSX on the computer already, when I try to boot from USB (in the Dell BIOS menu) it just takes me straight to OSX still..
