revlimiter
Hey, I'm reading the installation guide for building a Snow Leopard PC here http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required and it seems pretty straight forward enough. I'll most likely buy the required hardware and have at it.. But before I get started I am just wondering if anybody can help me out with these questions: -Is it considered "safe" to do Software Updates? (to the latest 10.6.X) -When the new OSX 10.7 comes out, is there a chance that this hardware will be compatible? Or is that impossible to say at this time? -Will I be able to use more than 2 USB ports at the same time with this setup? (Asking because my current 10.5 system only seems to support 2) -Can I use DDR3 RAM instead of DDR2? And if so, does it have to be a certain type of DDR3? -Any problems with Bluetooth? -Can I install it on a newly formatted 2TB (SATA) hdd or is that considered too large? -As of right now (2010) is this the most compatible build to go with? Any other thoughts/feedback on this setup, please let me know! Thanks!
